The Mid Ohio Valley Ballet "School Days Performing Arts Series" has visited 100's of public schools throughout West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Over 10,000 school children have been transformed to a world where there is no violence, hatred or intolerance and everyone learns a moral lesson by the end - that is the definition of a ballet - a child (or an adult) does not leave an MOVB performance without a feeling of happiness and amazement at the sheer beauty, artistry and athleticism of what they saw. As the boy's "leap" out the door and the girls "tippy toe" away, we know we have changed their outlook for the day and maybe forever.......
